POLICY STATEMENT

Alexandria Technical and Community College (ATCC) will disseminate and extend knowledge, foster the free exchange of ideas, and provide effective support for its teaching, research, and public service functions. ATCC will ensure appropriate access is afforded to information technology resources, including, but not limited to computers, software, e-mail accounts, internet access, and similar computing tools, for students, faculty, and staff for fulling the mission, and for appropriate related activities.

The ATCC Information Technology Department will install and maintain software on campus-owned computers. Detailed knowledge of and instruction in software is the responsibility of the department or instructor.
