PROCEDURES

Student and employee identification (ID) cards are created at the Information Technology Department. Students must be an enrolled student at Alexandria Technical and Community College and must present their Student ID number (TechID or StarID) and a photo ID to obtain a Student ID card. Students that do not have either form of identification listed above may contact the Information Technology Department. Students who are attending completely online are not required to obtain a student ID card.

ID cards are required to check out materials from the college's (or any Minnesota State) library, for printing on campus, to access certain areas of campus, and to enter the building outside normal hours of operation.

There is no charge for the first ID card; however, a $15 fee is charged for a replacement card.
