Alexandria, Minn., is a community steeped in a rich outdoor culture. The area is a popular vacation destination for many Minnesotans who enjoy being outside throughout the year. These key features of the community also help Alexandria Technical and Community College draw students in from around the state.

Alexandria Technical and Community College’s Early Childhood Education Program hosted over 80 students from Alexandria Area High School during the program’s annual Baby Lab on September 25.

Be it a gallon of milk, a package from Amazon, or a part for a car needing to be repaired it takes a truck to get it to where it needs to go. Since its birth in the early 20th century, the trucking industry has been a staple in moving goods and supporting the U.S. economy. Alexandria Technical and Community College has been supporting the trucking industry since 1965 when the college’s diesel technician program was created.

Alexandria Technical and Community College Carpentry Students and school officials gathered with volunteers from the Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County organization to bless the Legends Build project home on September 19, Alexandria Minn.

The Fall 2023 Senior College Lecture series kicked off September 12 at Alexandria Technical and Community College, Alexandria, Minn.

For the third year in a row, Alexandria Technical and Community College will have positive enrollment growth with the headcount of over 4,000.

A representative from the National Alliance on Mental Illness Minnesota (NAMI MN) will be on campus in room 209 on September 12, 2023, to present Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training. There will be two sessions, the first one at 12-1:30 p.m. and the second 5:30-7:00 p.m. This is a free workshop open to all Students and Employees.

Alexandria Technical and Community College continues to be a pioneer in higher education in Minnesota by establishing an archery team, becoming the first 2-year college in Minnesota to offer competitive archery through USA Archery's Collegiate Archery Program.
