Building Hours

Alexandria Technical and Community College campus buildings are accessible during the following times. Hours may change for special events, holidays, or inclement weather.

Note: Students and members of the public cannot be in any of the campus buildings when they are closed.

Student spaces open when campus buildings are open:

Fall & Spring Semester Building Hours

Main Building (Main Entrances)

  • Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM – 9:30 PM
  • Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Main Building - Gym 120

  • Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

700 Building

  • Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM – 9:30 PM
  • Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

700 Building (Northwest Door)

  • Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Law Enforcement Center

  • Monday-Friday, 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM

     

Summer Semester Building Hours

Main Building (Main Entrances)

  • Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM

700 Building (Northwest and Northeast Doors)

  • Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Law Enforcement Center

  • Monday-Friday, 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM

Building hours may vary during breaks (e.g., spring break, fall break, etc.).

Service Hours

Alexandria Technical and Community College (ATCC) will maintain service hours year-round. All full-time staff (not including faculty) will be scheduled a 40-hour, 5-day work week. Supervisors approve individual work schedules that may vary from service hours; however, staff must comply with their bargaining unit contracts and agreed upon conditions of employment.

Fall & Spring Semester Service Hours

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Summer Semester Service Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Any exceptions to college service hours must be approved by the President.
