PROCEDURES

 

Alexandria Technical & Community College awards Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), and DSST credit based on the student earning a satisfactory score. The student must request an official score report is sent to ATCC, who will add the credit to the student’s permanent academic record upon matriculation. Students may refer to the charts linked below for equivalencies or may review their Degree Audit Report (DARS) to view how their credits apply to their academic record. 

ATCC may also accept demonstrated college-level learning through nationally recognized exams where ACE credit is recommended, and an appropriate college evaluation has been completed.
