Reece Peterson, a Police Training and Education student at Alexandria Technical and Community College, was named the Minnesota SkillsUSA state president. Eli Haakenson, an Alexandria College Mechatronics student, was named Minnesota SkillsUSA state parliamentarian.

Alexandria Technical & Community College accounting students are offering free tax return preparation for low income taxpayers from February 6 to April 10, 2025 (closed over spring break). Students are certified by the IRS to prepare returns.

The Community College Crisis Awareness & Prevention of Suicide (CAPS) Team invited Karin Anderson and her lovable therapy Doodle, Bella, to the Alexandria Technical and Community College campus to spread Holiday cheer to students and employees on December 11, 2024.
