According to a recent evaluation by University HQ, Alexandria College stands out among community colleges for its academic programs, cost, and job placement.

The past four years have been transformational for Alexandria Technical & Community College, resulting in an overall enrollment growth of 27.6% from fall 2020 to fall 2024 as reported by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal—the largest percentage growth in all of Minnesota.

As part of a Minnesota State mental health initiative, Alexandria Technical and Community College is offering free mental health resources available online 24/7 for all of its students. Mantra Health will provide each Alexandria College student access to 12 FREE therapy sessions across all 50 states, allowing online students to use these services.

The partnership resulted in a hands-on learning opportunity for the college's Marine, Motorcycle, and Powersports Technician program students and a fully outfitted Lund 1775 Adventure boat package – now the centerpiece of a special raffle.
