Alexandria Technical & Community College recognizes individual students for academic excellence. The Dean's List includes students who achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher while enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits or more).

To ensure we continue to meet (and exceed) industry standards and the “best in class” expectations we set for ourselves, the college collects and reviews several metrics each year: retention rates by program, licensure exam pass rates, related job placement rates (98%), and graduation rates. In Minnesota’s two-year colleges, Alexandria Technical & Community College is in the top three in each of these areas.

Gov. Tim Walz left for an eight-day trade mission to Australia on Friday, Nov. 10 with about 35 others representing cabinet members, business leaders, farmers and others.
Among the attendees are Michael Seymour, president of the Alexandria Technical and Community College and Jeff Wild, vice president of advancement and outreach for the college.
