Academic & Financial Aid Suspension Appeal

You are on a suspension status for not having met satisfactory progress standards as stated in the Alexandria Technical & Community College student handbook. The satisfactory academic progress policy is located on the ATCC website – please review this if you want further details. (At the ATCC website, search for satisfactory academic progress to locate the policy) You may be allowed to continue at the college in certain situations or in the event of extenuating circumstances.

Please Note: Financial aid requires that your appeal MUST be based on mitigating circumstances. Mitigating circumstances are situations that are out of your control and were not present at the time of your initial enrollment at ATCC.

The college is asking you to provide information which includes private information under State and Federal law. The information is optional; however, if you refuse to provide some or all of the optional information, the college may not be able to process your request.
