Learn the techniques and theories necessary to work in a medical or clinical laboratory. Develop knowledge in phlebotomy, body fluid analysis, hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, immunohematology, and molecular diagnostics. In addition to technical skills, learn the theories and principles behind the tests performed to correlate the results with patients' conditions.
Graduates of the program are eligible to take the Board of Certification Examination of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
