RoboDK is an offline programming and simulation software for industrial robots. The simulation software can be used for many manufacturing projects including milling, welding, pick and place, packaging and labeling, palletizing, painting, robot calibration, and more.
Students have access to a library of 500+ simulated robots from more than 50 different manufacturers including ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, Motoman, Delta, and Universal Robots. Mechatronics students can study multiple scenarios of a robot work cell before setting up the production cell.
The add-on for SolidWorks allows for collaborative 3D CAD modeling features to be imported and activated in the RoboDK simulation environment.
Mechatronics students can now design and program their own robot cells virtually, in addition to the traditional method of shared access to three physical robots in our labs.
