POLICY STATEMENT

Alexandria Technical and Community College (ATCC) is committed to providing financial assistance to students to help cover the cost of education which includes tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board, transportation, and personal expenses.

ATCC provides students with access to an institutional financial aid advisor who will make available appropriate loan counseling before offering, recommending, arranging, signing-up, disbursing, or enrolling students for private student loans.

  • ATCC discloses the following information to students:
  • student loan Cohort Default Rates (CDR);
  • the percentage of students who borrow; and
  • how the institution’s CDR compares to the national average

If ATCC’s CDR is greater than the national average CDR, we will disclose that information and provide the student with loan repayment data.
