Applying for Admission

Prospective students of Alexandria Technical & Community College are invited to begin the admissions process by submitting an application for admission to the college and providing required documentation as outlined in the admissions criteria below. Additional admission requirements may be required for some programs.

A high school graduate or GED certificate holder with fewer than 60 completed, post high school, college credits.

  • Apply to Alexandria College
  • $20 non-refundable application fee
  • Official high school transcript or GED certificate
    • If the language of record is not English, a certified translation must be included with the official transcript.
  • Official transcripts from all colleges previously attended.
    • If the language of record is not English, a certified course-by-course evaluation that includes GPA and course levels must be provided.

A student with 60 or more completed, post high school, college credits, towards an academic major.

    • An official transcript from your high school or GED certificate is required if you have fewer than 60 transferable, post high school, college credits.
    • If the language of record is not English, a certified course-by-course evaluation that includes GPA and course levels must be provided.

A student will be considered visiting if they are only registering for classes and not seeking acceptance to the college or a college major. Visiting students are not required to apply to ATCC to register for classes.
