2011-2012 Mentor Program

Purpose

  • Create a welcoming environment for incoming ATCC students.
  • Provide a point of contact for new students.
  • Involve new students in campus activities.
  • Support new students in achieving academic success.
  • Encourage mentee participation in campus events and mentor program
     

Mentor Commitments

  1. Communicate with mentee at least once per week (via email, text, Facebook, in person, etc).
  2. Attend mentor training on Tuesday, August 30 from 12 – 1 pm.
  3. Attend monthly group meetings
  4. Meet with mentee once per month one-on-one outside of group events (coffee, lunch, etc)
  5. Attend at least 2 campus events per semester together
